In this SEO for optometrists case study, we examine a local business that sought our help with their SEO. Established for seven years with a website on the WIX platform, their goal was to improve online visibility and drive more traffic to their site over a 10-month campaign.

Our first step was a site audit to identify technical SEO issues, revealing problems such as a lack of proper meta tags and poor site structure. We addressed these issues as much as possible within the WIX platform’s limitations. 

Next, we created a Keyword-to-Content Map, researching the best local keywords based on search volume and competition. We then updated each page’s metadata, including title tags, meta descriptions, and URLs, to include these keywords.

To improve content, we expanded existing pages to address thin content issues and created new pages featuring detailed brand descriptions and imagery. Our copywriting team also developed blog posts targeting common eye care questions, optimised for local keywords.

Additionally, we fully optimised the client’s Google My Business Profile, publishing detailed descriptions of products and services, and sharing articles to enhance online presence and visibility.
