We began working with Honey Heaven in August 2019, focusing on their e-commerce website through to 2024. Their Shopify SEO journey started with importing unique organic honey from Hungary, aiming to promote a happier, healthier lifestyle through delicious, natural foods. 

A few months later, they expanded their product line to include premium organic CBD products. This addition created a unique offering, enhancing people’s lives with ethically extracted, organic products made using traditional, sustainable methods in harmony with nature.

Honey Heaven has continually expanded their product range. They introduced various flavours of honey as well as honeycomb, propolis, and gift sets. In the CBD category, they added balms, CBD teas, and sprays with different potency and concentrations to their premium distillate CBD oils.

Being by the client’s side throughout these changes has allowed us to support them with inventory updates. We optimised their new products immediately and interlinked them with the existing ones, whilst continuously monitoring the site’s health to address any broken links or product removals promptly.

Content creation has also been instrumental in steadily growing their rankings. We assisted the client with regular blogging activities on topics related to honey and CBD, creating a strong network of internal links.

When Honey Heaven began working with us on their Shopify SEO in August 2019, they were ranking for only three keywords on Google’s first page, one of which was their brand name. 

By March 2021, they were ranking for 289 keywords, up from 109 in August 2019—a 165% increase. The number of keywords on Google’s first page rose to 12, including competitive terms like “high CBD extract” and “organic honey,” compared to just two initially.

According to Google Analytics, website users in March 2021 were 2743, a significant increase from the 583 users per month when we started in August 2019, marking a 370% rise. 

In March 2021, 1,957 visitors came from search engines, up from just 375 at the beginning of our collaboration.

By 2024, Honey Heaven had soared in popularity, earning multiple Best Taste Awards and securing a spot for select products in Selfridges. 

Keyword rankings have seen remarkable year-on-year growth: March 2022 reached 1,290 keywords (+346% increase), April 2023 hit 2,145 keywords (+66% increase), and by April 2024, the number surged to 3,204 keywords (+49% increase). 

This remarkable 2839% total keyword growth underscores the effectiveness of our Shopify SEO strategy, further reinforced by the significant increase in organic search traffic.
